Team Lead Training for Homelessness


Duration: 1 - 2 days


The role of the team lead, supervisor and/or program manager in any homelessness program is an integral part of a highly effective team. Person Center leadership that defines program structure, types of teams, effective and intentional meetings, and positive and productive supervision are key elements practiced in this training. Tools and strategies for recognizing stress, how to work through stressful situations effectively as a team and supporting team members individually are integral factors. Participants will learn the effectiveness of facilitating person-centred case conferences, defining roles and responsibilities, efficient file reviews, time management, and documentation and reporting. This training will leave participants with a wealth of strategies and tools so they feel empowered to continue this vital work.
