Case Notes and Documentation


Duration: 0.5 - 1 day


In the first half of the day, this training will give participants information on why thorough case notes are important, liability and participant's rights, impact on outcomes, timelines, making changes, emails, assessment information, incident reports and the do’s and don’t of writing professional case notes, logbook, and documentation. Ensuring participants understand how to write clear, concise, factual, and relevant case notes with the opportunity to practice and work with their collogues.  

The second half of the day is for Team Leads/Program leaders. Leaders will learn a system of giving feedback that is easy to use, efficient, and effective, complete with graphed and narrative results. The training will give leaders the ability to see each team member’s results as well as the entire team, identify key strengths and areas to work on, to drive strength-based practices. Content will build on the important elements from the morning training and Leaders must have participated in the morning to take the second half of the day training.
